Coming to Oxford STEM Network doesn't require membership. You can simply book a meet-up for £20 + VAT whenever you'd like to attend.
But relationships don't stop when everyone goes home.
The Oxford STEM Network Directory was created to help people find one another again, remain visible and continue conversations between our face-to-face meetings.
What do I get for £100 + VAT per year?
Your Directory profile
A searchable profile explaining who you are, what you do, your areas of expertise and the STEM sectors you know.
Private WhatsApp Group
Join the conversation between meetings. People use the group to ask questions, seek recommendations, share useful information, make introductions and tell others about relevant events and opportunities.
Share your events
If you're running an event that's genuinely relevant to people working in STEM businesses, you can share it in the WhatsApp group and submit it for consideration for the website.
Stay visible without attending every meeting
There is no obligation to attend every meet-up. Come when you can. Stay connected when you can't.
Who can join the Directory?
The Directory is for established business leaders and experienced advisers who are already active in science, technology, engineering, mathematics or manufacturing.
For advisers, we expect genuine experience of working with STEM businesses rather than simply an ambition to sell services into the sector.
Is this membership?
No. Oxford STEM Network isn't a membership organisation.
The £100 + VAT annual charge is an administration fee for the Directory and associated services. Meet-ups remain separate and are paid for individually.
Do you restrict professions?
No. We believe people buy from people.
We are happy to include more than one person with similar professional expertise because sector knowledge, experience, approach and chemistry all matter.
What we do expect is a collaborative attitude. Oxford STEM Network works because people are willing to give advice, share knowledge, make introductions and help others, rather than treating every interaction as a sales opportunity.
