Despite the name, you don't need to be based in Oxford to come along.
People regularly travel from across Oxfordshire and neighbouring counties, and we've welcomed people from Berkshire, Wiltshire, Coventry and further afield.
What matters isn't your postcode. It's that you are already working in a science, technology, engineering, mathematics or manufacturing business, or have genuine experience advising businesses in these sectors.

And we don't restrict each profession to a single representative.
We believe people buy from people. Different businesses need different expertise, experience and personalities, so having several people with similar professional backgrounds gives business leaders genuine choice.

Come when it works for you
Our face-to-face meet-ups are informal and deliberately simple.
There is no membership to buy and no obligation to attend every meeting.
Each meet-up costs £20 + VAT. Come along, meet some interesting people and decide for yourself whether you'd like to come again.

Sometimes you meet exactly the person you need at a meet-up. Sometimes you remember meeting someone six months later and can't quite remember their surname.
That's why we have the Oxford STEM Network Directory. It helps STEM leaders find business leaders and advisers with relevant experience and helps people who meet through the network stay visible to one another between meetings.
Want to stay connected between meetings?
For £100 + VAT per year, you can add your profile to the Directory and join our private WhatsApp group.
You can also share relevant events with the group and submit them for inclusion on the Oxford STEM Network website.
It isn't a membership and there is no obligation to attend every meet-up. It's simply a practical way to remain part of the conversation.
